Edit Custom Template

Table of Contents

1. Features

The edit page lets you adjust an existing template's settings and shipping-document layout. Font too small, fields to add or remove, a logo to swap, channels to rebind — you change them all here. Settings and tools are on the left; the live preview on the right updates as you edit, so you can confirm the result before saving.

1.2 Layout Editing

Click "Edit HTML" to open the advanced editor and adjust the layout structure and styles (font, color, spacing, field arrangement, etc.). The template uses dynamic fields to fill in each order's real data automatically; when unsure which fields are available, click "View Variables" to open the variable reference, where you can search across order info, item details, recipient, logistics, store, and channel fields, and copy them into the content with one click.

⚠️ When editing the layout, be sure to keep the barcode area field, otherwise it cannot be saved — the shipping document needs it to print the pick number and barcode.

1.3 Live Preview

The panel on the right renders the current layout live with sample order data and updates automatically as you edit. When everything looks right, click "Save". Changes take effect immediately after saving for all channels that use this template, and future shipping documents will use the new layout.

2. FAQ

Quick Jump: FAQNotices

2.1 FAQ

▪ Will editing the template affect shipping documents already generated?

No. Already-generated shipping-document PDFs are not affected; only documents generated after saving use the new layout.

▪ If I change the channel binding, what happens to the original template?

If you rebind a channel to this template, that channel is automatically removed from the template it was bound to before — a channel uses only one template at a time.

▪ Which dynamic fields are available?

Click "View Variables" to open the variable reference and see the full list, covering order info, item details, recipient info, logistics info, store info, and channel info.

▪ How do I test the actual printout after editing?

After saving, use "Download Shipping Details" on an order that uses this template under "Order List", and confirm the result with the actual generated file.

▪ It says the barcode area is missing on save — what do I do?

The template content must keep the barcode area field. If you accidentally removed it in the advanced editor, restore that field before saving.

▪ Can I revert to the version before my changes?

There is no version history feature. Before important changes, copy the existing content from the detail page to back it up yourself.
