Welcome to the Warehouse Operations System
Welcome to the GoWarehouse Warehouse Operations System. This is your daily workstation on the floor: receiving and check-in, put-away, picking, shipping, stocktaking, and returns — all done here. This page explains what the system does, where each task lives, and a few actions you'll use on every page.

1. What the Operations System is
The Warehouse Operations System is the backend for warehouse staff — receivers, put-away staff, pickers, return checkers, and supervisors with higher permissions. The warehouse handles goods for many merchants at once, and the system breaks each day's flow into stations: you scan, confirm, and complete as prompted, and the system keeps stock and document status updated for you:
- Inbound: receive goods shipped in by a merchant, check quantities, and put them away to shelf locations.
- Outbound: pick, verify, pack, and hand off to the carrier based on orders.
- Stocktaking: count actual quantities on shelves, regularly or ad hoc, to correct on-record stock.
- Returns: take in goods customers send back, check them, and decide whether they return to sellable stock or other handling.
Every task is bound to the current merchant and current warehouse, so you only touch the data you should.
2. Task map
The left menu is organized by warehouse workflow into the sections below. Click "Open" to read the guide for that task:
| Section | What you do here | Open |
|---|---|---|
| Inbound | Review inbounds awaiting receipt; check in arrivals and put them away | Open |
| Picking | Pick up pending picking lists and start fulfilling | Open |
| Orders | View orders and fulfillment progress; handle out-of-stock and holds | Open |
| Shipments | Print dispatch documents, upload carrier labels, hand off for delivery | Open |
| Returns | Collect and check goods customers send back | Open |
| Inventory | Check stock and shelf locations; make adjustments and moves | Open |
| Stock Taking | Create stocktake sheets and count actual shelf quantities | Open |
| Products | Maintain products, bundles, brands, and categories | Open |
| Merchant Settings | Manage merchant data, billing, and e-commerce/carrier accounts | Open |
3. Actions that work on every page
These actions are the same on most pages. Learn them and you'll use them in every task:
- Switch the current merchant: the warehouse serves many merchants, so before you start, pick the "current merchant" at the top — the products, orders, and stock on screen will then be that merchant's data.
- Switch the current warehouse: create and change operations are locked to your "current warehouse"; for documents in another warehouse, switch to it first.
- Scan input: lists and task pages accept barcode scans, or just type a document number / SKU on the keyboard and press Enter.
- Search and filter: narrow lists by document number, status, date, and more; pull to refresh for the latest data.
- Batch actions: select multiple rows to reveal batch actions and process many documents at once.
- View the guide: the "Manual" button at the top-right opens the guide for that page.
4. Where to start
New to the system? Get familiar in daily-workflow order:
- Start your shift at the Dashboard to see today's pending workload.
- When goods arrive, go to Inbounds to check in and put away; stock updates under Inventory.
- During peak fulfillment, go to Picking to pick lists, then print and hand off under Shipments.
- For customer returns, go to Returns to collect and check; periodically run Stocktaking to correct stock.
