Quick Jump: FAQ | Notices

3.1 FAQ

▪ Can the owning Merchant be modified?

Yes. Reselect the owner in the "Merchant" dropdown (a merchant or "Warehouse-owned"); the change takes effect after saving.

▪ Does changing the barcode affect history?

No. Past shipping records keep the original information; the new barcode only applies to future operations.

▪ Can the Volume be edited manually?

No. The Volume is auto-calculated from the dimensions and the field is read-only. To adjust the volume, modify the length, width, and height.

▪ What does the "barcode already taken" error mean?

Another consumable within the same Merchant (or the "Warehouse-owned" scope) already uses this barcode. Use a different barcode, or check whether you meant to edit the other record.

▪ Can the dimensions be left blank?

Yes. For consumables without fixed dimensions (tape, cushioning, etc.), the length/width/height fields can be left blank.

▪ Do changes take effect immediately?

Yes. After clicking "Save", the changes take effect immediately and future shipping operations use the new information.
