Scenario 1: Check Product Shelf Location
Situation: During receiving, you need to confirm where a product should be stored.
What to do:
- Scan the product barcode in the Product List
- Click the product name to enter the details page
- Check the "Default Shelf (Preferred recommendation during inbound putaway; also used as fallback if no shelf is specified during inventory import)" field in the "Basic Information" or "Shelf Information" section (its location depends on your warehouse's shelf management mode)
Result: You can see the product's default shelf and put it away directly to that location.
Scenario 2: Print Product Label
Situation: A product label is missing or damaged and needs to be reprinted.
What to do:
- Go to the product details page
- Click the "Print Label" button in the top right
- Select a label template in the popup window
- Set the number of copies
- Click "Print Label"
Result: The system generates a PDF label file and automatically opens a new window for download or printing.
Scenario 3: Track Product Edit History
Situation: You notice product data anomalies and need to confirm who made changes and when.
What to do:
- Go to the product details page
- Scroll to the bottom and switch to the "Edit History" tab
- Review the history list
Result: You can see the time, operator, changed fields, and before/after values for each modification.
2. Feature Guide
Confirming which shelf a product belongs on during receiving, verifying product specs during picking, reprinting damaged labels — all of this happens on the product details page. Here you can see the product's complete data, including shelf settings, packaging specs, and substitutes, and you can print labels or check inventory directly.

2.1 Action Buttons
The following action buttons are available in the top right corner:

2.2 Basic Information

| Secondary Barcodes | Used when old/new packaging have different barcodes, listed one by one |

2.3 Unit Information
Products support three unit specifications:

2.5 Shelf Information
This section only appears for warehouses using "dynamic shelf" management mode; for warehouses using "dedicated shelf" mode, the "Default Shelf (Preferred recommendation during inbound putaway; also used as fallback if no shelf is specified during inventory import)" is shown directly in the "Basic Information" section.

2.6 Substitute Information
Shows a list of products that can substitute for this product, including:
- Substitute name

💡 Tip: When this product is out of stock, the system can automatically suggest using substitutes for shipping.
2.7 Edit History
Displays product modification history in timeline format at the bottom of the page:

3.1 FAQ
▪ How do I print product labels?
- Go to the product details page
- Click the "Print Label" button in the top right
- Select a label template (the default template is auto-selected)
- Set the number of copies
- Click "Print Label"
- The system opens the PDF file in a new window
▪ Can't find the "Print Label" button?
Possible reasons:
- No label templates have been created in the system
- Your account doesn't have label printing permissions
Please contact your administrator to confirm whether label templates are available.
▪ How do I view a product's inventory details?
Click the "Inventory" button in the top right corner to go to the inventory inquiry page, which shows:
- Inventory quantity overview (available, allocated, held)
- "By Shelf": which shelves the product is on and how many on each
- "By Batch": inventory details by batch and expiration date
- "In Transit": quantities on inbounds that have not finished putaway
▪ When does the "Shipping Serial Number List" button appear?
The "Shipping Serial Number List" button only appears when the product's "Required Serial Numbers" is greater than 0. Click it to view the product's registered serial numbers.
▪ How do I see who modified product data?
Expand the "Edit History" section to see all modification records, including:
- Modification time
- Operator (merchant account, "Warehouse Staff" with name, or "API Integration")
- Changed fields and before/after values
▪ How do I check a product's default shelf?
For warehouses using "dynamic shelf" mode, expand the "Shelf Information" section; for warehouses using "dedicated shelf" mode, check "Default Shelf (Preferred recommendation during inbound putaway; also used as fallback if no shelf is specified during inventory import)" directly in the "Basic Information" section.
3.2 Important Notes
⚠️ Permission Restrictions
- Most warehouse staff can only view product data, not edit it
- Contact your administrator if you need to modify product data
- Label printing requires appropriate permissions

- Edit history records changes made through the merchant portal, the warehouse system, and external integrations
- Operators are shown as the merchant account, "Warehouse Staff" with name, or "API Integration"
