Scenario 1: Adjust Promotional Bundle Contents
Situation: "Mother's Day Gift Box" originally contains 2 chocolates, need to change to 1 chocolate and 1 flower bouquet.
How to do it:
- Go to bundle detail page, click "Edit"
- Change chocolate "Quantity" from 2 to 1
- Click "Add Product"
- Search and select "Flowers", enter 1 for "Quantity"
- Click "Save"
Result: A success message appears and the page returns to the previous page. New orders use the new bundle contents; existing orders are unaffected.
Scenario 2: Specify Good Inventory Type Only
Situation: "Premium Gift Box" should only use Good inventory type to ensure quality.
How to do it:
- Go to bundle edit page
- Find product needing inventory type specification
- Change "Inventory Type" from "Default" to "Good"
- Repeat for other products
- Click "Save"
Result: Update successful, this bundle will only use Good inventory for shipping.
Scenario 3: Disable Seasonal Bundle
Situation: "Chinese New Year Gift Box" promotion ended, need to disable.
How to do it:
- Go to bundle edit page
- Toggle "Activated" to disabled
- Click "Save"
Result: Bundle is disabled, cannot be added to new orders. Existing orders unaffected.
2. Feature Guide
The edit bundle page allows you to modify existing bundle's basic information and contents. You can adjust bundle name, SKU, product quantities, and inventory type settings. Changes only affect new orders; existing orders are unaffected.

📌 Note: The edit page does not show a merchant field — the bundle stays with the merchant selected at creation and cannot be changed.

3. FAQ
3.1 FAQ
▪ Will editing a bundle affect existing orders?
No. Orders expand the bundle into individual product lines when they are placed, preserving the bundle contents at that time. Edits only affect new orders.
▪ Can I change the bundle's merchant?
No. "Merchant" is fixed at creation time and cannot be changed. To switch merchants, create a new bundle under the correct merchant and set the old bundle's "Activated" to disabled.
▪ What are the risks of modifying SKU?
Modifying "SKU" may affect:
- Order tracking and report statistics
- External system references (e.g., e-commerce platforms)
Setting the correct SKU at creation is recommended.
▪ Can I delete all products?
No. Bundles require at least one product; removing all products and clicking "Save" shows an error message.
▪ Can't find the product to add?
Please check:
- Product has been created
- Product belongs to this bundle's merchant
- Product hasn't been deleted
If not found, go to "Product List" to create it first.
▪ Will available sets update immediately after changing quantity?
It's recalculated after saving. Go back to the bundle list to see the updated "Available Set Quantity".
▪ Can I undo edits?
Before saving, click "Cancel" to discard changes. After saving, can only edit again to restore original state.
▪ Can I still edit a disabled bundle?
Yes. Disabling only prevents the bundle from being added to orders; editing is unaffected.
3.2 Notes
⚠️ Important Reminders
- Edits only affect new orders; existing orders ship according to bundle configuration at order time
- The bundle's merchant cannot be modified; to switch, recreate the bundle and disable the old one
- Can only select products from same merchant; same product cannot be added twice
- Click "Save" to actually save; unsaved changes lost when leaving page
