Scenario 1: Look Up the Shipping Record of a Serial Number
Situation: A customer calls asking about the shipping status of a specific serial number, and you need to quickly find the matching order.
Steps:
- Enter the serial number in the "Serial Number" filter
- Apply the filter
Result: The list shows the order, product, and shipping time for that serial number; click the Order to view details.
Scenario 2: Track All Serial Numbers of an Order
Situation: You need to confirm which serial numbers were registered when an order shipped, so you can answer a customer inquiry.
Steps:
- Enter the order number in the "Order" filter
- Apply the filter
Result: The list shows all serial numbers registered for that order, with the matching products and shipping times.
Scenario 3: Check a Product's Serial Number History
Situation: A supplier reports a potentially defective batch, and you need to find every serial number of that product that has shipped.
Steps:
- Enter the product info in the "SKU" or "Name" filter
- Apply the filter
- Sort by "Shipped At" to locate the problem batch quickly
Result: The list shows all shipped serial number records of that product so you can trace each one.

When a complaint or recall comes in after shipping, this is where you trace serial numbers. Serial numbers registered during shipping QC are collected here: look up which order a serial number shipped with, or work backwards to track the serial number history of an order or a product.

3.1 FAQ
▪ When are serial numbers registered?
Serial numbers are registered during shipping QC. When a product requires serial number management, QC staff enter or scan the serial number while scanning the product, and it is recorded automatically.
▪ Why can't I find a serial number?
Possible reasons:
- The serial number hasn't been registered yet (the order hasn't finished shipping QC)
- The serial number was mistyped (check case and characters)
- The product doesn't require serial number management
▪ Can a registered serial number be changed?
Serial number records of shipped orders cannot be changed directly. If a correction is needed, contact your system administrator.
▪ How do I query serial numbers within a time range?
Filters don't support time ranges yet, but you can sort by the "Created At" or "Shipped At" columns to quickly locate records within a period.
▪ Can one product have multiple serial numbers?
Yes. Every unit has its own serial number — even units of the same item in the same order each need a distinct serial number.

⚠️ Important
- Once registered and shipped, serial numbers cannot be changed or removed on your own
- Serial numbers uniquely identify each unit, so make sure they are entered correctly
- This page is read-only; serial numbers are registered during shipping QC
