  2. Confirm you have selected the correct merchant
  3. Scan the product barcode with a scanner
  4. The system automatically displays product information

  2. Shelve the product at the default shelf
  3. Continue scanning the next product

Result: Information displays immediately after scanning without manual input, preventing putaway at wrong locations.

How to do it:

  1. Go to the Product List page
  2. Select the corresponding merchant
  3. Scan the product barcode from the picking list
  4. Click the product name to open the detail page
  5. Click "Inventory" and check the "By Shelf" view to see which shelves hold the product and how many on each
  6. Go to that shelf to pick the product

Result: See the product's storage location directly, reducing time spent searching for products.

Scenario 3: Stocktaking - Export Product List

How to do it:

▸ Set Filter Conditions

  2. Click "Add filter" → select "Merchant" → choose the target merchant
  3. Click "Add filter" → select "Activation Status" → choose "Enabled"

  2. The file downloads automatically once processing finishes
  3. Print the list and start counting

Result: The complete list ensures no products are missed; you can compare actual vs. system quantities directly.

Scenario 4: Barcode Scan Issues - Quick Diagnosis

Situation: While picking, scanning a barcode returns no product and you need to confirm the issue.

How to do it:

  1. Go to the Product List page
  2. Type the full barcode into the search box (barcodes must be entered in full to match)
  3. Press Enter to search
  4. If the product is found, verify its name and status
  5. If not found, try the "Other Barcode" filter

Result: Quickly identify the cause; both the main barcode and other barcodes are searchable, so issues can be fixed right away.

3. FAQ

Quick Jump: FAQ | Important Notes

3.1 FAQ

▪ Why can I see products from multiple merchants?

Your account has been granted access to those merchants' products. Administrators configure which merchants you can access based on your work needs.

▪ What is the difference between "Available Stock" and "Total Stock"?

TypeDescriptionWarehouse Use
Total StockSum across all inventory types, including allocated and available stockReference during stocktaking
Available QuantityQuantity available to ship, excluding stock allocated to orders or on holdConfirm before picking

▪ What does "allocated" or "held" stock mean?

Allocated: When an order is created, the system allocates the quantity to that order pending picking and shipping; it cannot be used by other orders.

Held: When a product has an issue (defect, pending confirmation), you can use "Hold" to set quantities aside so they are not shipped, then release the hold once resolved.

▪ How do I find a specific product quickly?

SituationRecommended Method
You know the SKUSearch the SKU directly
You know the barcodeScan it with a scanner (fastest)
You know part of the nameSearch the keyword
You only know the merchantUse the merchant filter
You know merchant + brandFilter by merchant, then by brand

▪ Search returns nothing but I am sure the product exists — what now?

Check in order:

  1. Remove all filters and search again
  2. Confirm whether a specific merchant is selected; the product may belong to another merchant
  3. Confirm the search keyword is correct (barcodes must be complete)
  4. Add the "Activation Status" filter and choose "Disabled" to see if the product was deactivated
  5. Confirm account permissions: you only see products of authorized merchants

▪ Nothing happens after scanning — what should I check?

CheckDescription
Cursor positionMake sure the cursor is in the search box
USB scannerCheck the USB connection
Bluetooth scannerCheck the pairing
Barcode clarityMake sure the barcode is readable
Scanner settingsRecommended: "auto Enter after scan"

▪ Why can't I edit products?

CauseSolution
Your role lacks edit permissionContact your supervisor or administrator
Product belongs to another merchantConfirm cross-merchant permission with your supervisor

▪ A batch operation never finishes — is it stuck?

Batch operations (especially exports) can take several minutes; the more products, the longer it takes. A notification appears when done and export files download automatically. If it never completes, contact your administrator.

3.2 Important Notes

⚠️ Merchant Management

  • You may see products from multiple merchants; always confirm the owning merchant
  • Avoid mixing up products of different merchants during inbound, picking, and shipping
  • Keep the "Merchant" column visible

⚠️ Permission Limits

  • Most warehouse staff cannot create or edit products
  • Report incorrect product data to an administrator
  • Some batch operations require special permissions

⚠️ Data Isolation

  • You can only view products of authorized merchants
  • Contact your system administrator to adjust access

⚠️ System Performance

  • Exporting many products (over 1,000) may take several minutes
  • You can keep working during batch operations; export files download automatically when done
