Scenario 1: Start the day by checking for issues
Situation: Platform order fetching and shipping run automatically, so errors that happen overnight go unseen. The first thing to do in the morning is check whether any issues have accumulated.
How to do it:
- Check the unread count on the bell icon at the top right
- Click the bell, then click "View All" to open the notification list
- In the "Unread" tab, click each title to view the details
- If the detail page shows a "View Related Resource" button, click it to go straight to the related record
Result: You have a full picture of pending issues (e.g., platform order-fetch errors, shipment failures) and won't miss problems that happened overnight.
Scenario 2: Mark notifications as read after handling them
Situation: You have finished handling a batch of platform integration errors and want to clear those notifications so the unread list only shows what still needs attention.
How to do it:
- Open the "Unread" tab of the notification list
- Select the notifications you have handled
- Click "Mark as Read"
- If everything is handled, you can also click "Mark All as Read"
Result: The selected notifications move to the "Read" tab, the bell count decreases accordingly, and the unread list only shows pending items.
Scenario 3: View only a specific type of notification
Situation: Many kinds of notifications have piled up, and right now you only want to focus on platform integration problems.
How to do it:
- Open the notification list
- In the "Category" filter above the list, select "Platform" (you can select multiple categories at once)
Result: The list shows only platform-related notifications, making it easier to handle the same type of issue in one go.
2. Feature Guide
When something happens during operations that warehouse staff should know about (e.g., platform integration errors, shipment failures, incomplete billing data), the system sends a notification automatically. You can browse the latest notifications from the bell at the top right, or use this page to review, filter, and mark them as read, making sure every issue gets picked up by someone.

The list is sorted by "Created At" from newest to oldest by default.

Click a notification title to open the detail page and view the full content. If the notification relates to a specific record, the detail page shows a "View Related Resource" button that takes you straight to it.

2.5 Notification Bell
The bell icon at the top right of the page is the quick entry point for notifications:
- The number on the bell is the unread notification count
- Click the bell to see the latest 5 unread notifications; click "View All" to open this page
- Click a notification or its check icon to mark it as read; click "Mark All as Read" to clear them all at once
- When a new notification arrives, a brief message with its title pops up on screen and the bell count increases

3.1 FAQ
▪ Which events generate notifications?
Notifications are generated automatically by the system. Common triggers include:
- Platform integration issues: errors while fetching orders, shipping, requesting tracking numbers, downloading shipping labels, updating stock, or syncing product mappings
- Shipping issues: a shipment task failed
- System alerts: e.g., billing found merchants with incomplete configuration
▪ Can I delete notifications?
No, but you can mark them as read. Read notifications move to the "Read" tab and no longer appear in the unread list.
▪ How long are notifications retained?
The system does not delete notifications automatically. You can view historical notifications anytime in the "Read" tab.
▪ If I mark a notification as read, will my colleagues still see it as unread?
No. The read status is shared across the whole warehouse: once anyone marks a notification as read, everyone sees it as read.
Why it works this way: notifications are mostly about issues that only need one person to handle. A shared read status lets the team see that "someone is already on it" and avoids multiple people working on the same issue.
▪ Can I mark a read notification back to unread?
No. Once marked as read, a notification cannot be reverted to unread, but it can still be viewed in the "Read" tab.
▪ What is the number on the bell icon?
It shows the current unread notification count. The number decreases when notifications are marked as read and increases in real time when new ones arrive.
▪ Can I choose which notifications to receive?
The notification list on this page cannot be customized; all notifications are shown. For email notifications, open "Profile" from the top-right menu and use "Email Notification Preferences" to turn each type of notification email on or off.
▪ Why am I not seeing new notifications?
Notifications appear in the system as soon as the event happens (a message pops up at the top of the screen). If you are not online at the time, you will still find them in the notification list after your next login. If there have been no new notifications for a while, it usually means no issues requiring attention have occurred recently.

- The read status is shared across the whole warehouse; before marking a notification as read, make sure the issue has been handled
- "Mark All as Read" marks every unread notification as read at once; make sure nothing is still pending before using it
- Once marked as read, notifications cannot be reverted to unread, but they can still be viewed in the "Read" tab
