1.1 Overview

Value Added Services are additional services provided by the warehouse for merchants, such as repackaging, labeling, bundle packaging, etc. This feature allows warehouse operators to create and manage billable service items and set default prices for use in orders.

Scenario 1: Add a New Service Item

Situation: The warehouse is adding a "Gift Wrapping" service and needs to create this service item for billing.

How to do it:

  1. Go to "Settings" → "Value Added Services"
  2. Click the "Add" button
  3. Select a merchant (or leave empty for all merchants)
  4. Enter the service name "Gift Wrapping"
  5. Set the default price
  6. Click "Confirm" to save

Result: The new service item is created and can be used in orders or billing.


Scenario 2: Update Service Price

Situation: Due to cost adjustments, the default price of "Repackaging" service needs to be updated.

How to do it:

  1. Go to Value Added Services list
  2. Find the "Repackaging" service
  3. Click the "Edit" button in that row
  4. Update the default price
  5. Click "Confirm" to save

Result: The service default price is updated; new orders will use the new price.


Scenario 3: Query Services for a Specific Merchant

Situation: Want to see what value added services are available for a specific merchant.

How to do it:

  1. Go to Value Added Services list
  2. Use the merchant filter to select the target merchant
  3. View the service list for that merchant

Result: Clearly see all available services and prices for that merchant.

2.2 Step-by-Step

▸ Add a Value Added Service

  1. Go to Value Added Services list
  2. Click the "Add" button in the top right
  3. Fill in the service information in the modal
    • Select merchant (optional)
    • Enter service name
    • Set default price
  4. Click "Confirm" to complete

▸ Edit a Value Added Service

  1. Find the target service in the list
  2. Click the "Edit" button in that row
  3. Modify the service information in the modal
  4. Click "Confirm" to save changes

▸ Delete a Value Added Service

  1. Find the target service in the list
  2. Click the "Delete" button in that row
  3. Click "Confirm" in the confirmation modal
  4. The service item is deleted

3.1 FAQ

▪ Can I set different prices for the same service for different merchants?

Yes. You can create multiple items with the same service name, each assigned to a different merchant with different prices.


▪ Who can use the service when no merchant is selected?

When no merchant is selected, the service becomes a universal service applicable to all merchants.


▪ Does changing the default price affect existing orders?

No. Price changes only affect newly created orders; existing orders retain their original prices.


▪ Can I delete a value added service that has been used?

If the service has been used in orders or billing, it's recommended not to delete it to maintain historical record integrity.


▪ How is the value added service used in orders?

When creating or editing an order, you can select the needed service items from the value added services list, and the system will automatically apply the default price.

3.2 Important Notes

⚠️ Important Reminders

  • Before deleting a service item, ensure no active orders are using that service
  • Price changes do not affect existing orders
  • It's recommended to create dedicated service items for each merchant for accurate billing
